6mm+ jewel grade South Sea pearl, Philippines

This 8.42x8.35mm , jewel grade, natural colour and luster, non-bead cultured (keshis) South Sea pearl pair was harvested in Philippines . It features very good lustre , very lightly blemished surface , and very good nacre . South Sea pearls grow in pinctada maxima, the largest pearl-bearing oysters, which is only found in a narrow corridor stretching from northern Australia to southern Japan. The Western Australia Pearling Act 1990 (Act) regulates the Australian pearling industry, which was also certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in 2017 and recertified in 2023 to include hatchery-breed oysters, making our supplier ethical.
